Thread: Customize bitrate in m4a FDK (AAC) encoder to 384kbps

Question Customize bitrate in m4a FDK (AAC) encoder to 384kbps

    Hi,

I'm looking for a one-shot solution to convert a 48/24 PCM or 48/32 FP wave into a 384 kbps M4A that'll eventually find its way on YouTube.

The bitrate options in the program go 320,400 but not 384. How do I make it 384 (since that's the highest supported by YouTube)?? Also, I don't have to worry about re-sampling right? db will automatically take care of that for me, yes?

Ready to purchase the product if there's a solution for this problem.

    You can try editing:

    encoder\m4a FDK (AAC)\encoder.txt

Search for 320000 and change to the value you require.
