Marantz NA6005 network player - can not get dsd to work

I have Asset 5.1 premium registered version running on a HP LX195 server that has Windows Homer Server version 1. The player and server are connected by wire to the comcast router.

Flac files of any sample rate play great but I can not get dsd to work. The player is supposed to play single and double rate dsd files. I have a few dsf type files on my server. If I do not change any settings and play a dsf file, music plays but the player says it is playing 96k wav format as if it is being trans-coded. If I change the Audio Format Streaming setting for dsf to stream as dop the player says it is playing a 176k wav format and I only hear noise.

There are no audio format related settings on the Marantz player so I am not sure what to try next. Has anyone gotten DSD to work? Do you have any suggestions?

Try setting dsf to 'as single', if the player can play the dsf file it will then.
