Thread: DSD files not indexed with Premium Asset

DSD files not indexed with Premium Asset

Hi. I've recently installed the full version of Asset on my Qnap to centralise my music serving. At the moment this is the only 'illustrate' program I have as I rip my CDs on a naim HDXssd. The problem is that DSD albums are not being recognised. To check the 'watch' folder I dropped a flac album in and that was indexed. And all DSD files are .dsf

Is there something else I need to do to make this work? I removed the trial version before installing the Premium version. And have restarted the NAS a couple of times with no effect. . .

R5 will be required for DSD support, currently this is Windows only, the QNAP will be updated around Q2 2016

Thanks for the quick answer, I'll stop trying and wait to Q2 16 . . .

Is the Pi 2 version of R5 also now scheduled for Q2 2016?
I was hoping it was end of this year, early 2016 so I can consolidate DSD tracks & FLAC tracks into one library and have only one Asset server layer.

    Thanks,
    Simon

The Pi would be the same time also.
