    FLAC -> AIFF & MP3 - how can I disable the writing of encoder & encoder+ fields?

    Is there a setting or option that will disable the writing of the encoder & encoder+ ID3 entries?

    I already have disabled "Update 'Source', 'Encoder', 'Encoded By' & 'Encoder Settings' ID tags in
    dBpoweramp configuration, Music Converter, When Converting section

    1. To disable these tags during the CD ripping process look here:
    CDRipper >> Options >> Meta Data & ID Tag >> Write ID Tags and un-tick the appropriate tags.

    2. To remove these tags on conversion use either:
    ID Tag Update utility codec >> Deletions tab
    OR
    Add DSP Effect ID Tag Processing >> Deletions tab
