Thread: Asset UPnP - FLAC files?

  1. #1

    Asset UPnP - FLAC files?

I'm running the current version of Asset UPnP on a Windows 10 PC. I have Asset UPnP pointing to "C:/FLAC" to pick up my music files.

I'm trying to play through my Oppo BDP-93 player, and I get the music fine. However, the icons displayed on the Oppo say "MP3".

Does Asset UPnP do any transcoding of FLAC to MP3?

    Thanks.

What do you have set under the following:
Asset UPnP Configuration >> Advanced Settings >> Audio Format Streaming
for FLAC (e.g. FLAC as is or FLAC as MP3 or FLAC as LPCM etc.)?

User error - all better now

(I had scanned my MP3 folder, not the FLAC folder)
