    CD Not in AccurateRip

    Hi:

There are times when a CD I am ripping is not in AccurateRip. But if I use secure mode, it goes through pass 1, pass 2, and then begins ultra-secure.

In this instance, should I use the burst mode instead?

    Thank you.

No, it's doing exactly what it is supposed to do. It can take a frustratingly long time but if I'm correct and there is nothing to compare to in Accuraterip then it is reading several times to help ensure a good rip. Burst mode will go past anything errors and all.

Correct. if not in AR, one should want it to go through all the various passes. That's the point of increasing the odds of getting bit perfect rips.

Thanks garym and mwheelerk. I'll be patient and do as you suggested.
