Using Converter for only dMC DSP Effects

Hi - for some projects. I don't need a file to be converted at all - i.e. the .wav file is fine as is. I just want to run some of the DSP Effects from dBpowerAMP Music Converter, like trim silence. How can I bypass the "converting to" any file type and just apply DSP Effects?

    Thanks,

    M-L

I do it all the time. One just uses the converter and "converts to" a selected DSP. I often "convert to" the ReplayGain DSP. This doesn't reencode the audio. It simply adds RG tags. Whether trim silence can work that way I'm not sure. Some of the DSP likely require reencoding.
