    Tags When Ripping

On occasion I like to re-rip one of my CDs if I encounter an error or want to see how many other's might have ripped it also. Is there a way to keep the tags that I edited prior to the last rip? Sometimes and in particular with medleys the titles overlap into another field.

the dbpa cache holds the info for a while, but not forever. Not sure about how EdIT ID TAGS works in dbpa, but I know in mp3tag, one can easily open the new files and the old files in the same window and with a mouse click or two transfer the old file tags to the new files. dbpa may have a method for that too.
