    Asset QNAP or Win10 VM

Finally taken the plunge and replaced my PC /Squeeze setup with a nice QNAP NAS / Denon HEOS setup.

Generally finding DLNA servers not as good as the old squeeze as you can't do random play, most played, etc. However Asset is looking superior to anything else I have found on that front.

I have two potential routes to go on DLNA server - either directly install on the QNAP or install on a virtual Windows machine (also on the QNAP). I have to stand up the Windows VM as that is where I am ripping from (dbpoweramp).

Has anyone got any experience or advise as to which way to proceed? I would prefer to keep it native on the QNAP but looks like its a few revisions behind.

I would go native, by the end of this year the native version should have caught up to main.
