    The problem is that no sort tags are working...
    Concentrate on a single album only and create an ARTIST SORT tag i.e. not ARTISTSORT, then in Asset Config with the single album, Rescan Library >> Refresh All.

    Which platform/OS and Asset UPnP version are you using?

    In Asset Config, which Artist Sort Handling option have you set?

    What file format are your audio files?

      According to Spoon (cf. above), the tag name should be ARTIST SORT, not ARTISTSORT; IOW, there should be a blank space between ARTIST and SORT. If you use ARTISTSORT, Asset doesn't recognise it as a tag, hence your problem. Once again, we're confronted with Asset's lack of documentation.

        @Giorgio321

        Don't use "ARTISTSORT" ... use "Artist Sort" (mit a space between words) ... then it works. This rule is also valid for "Album Artist Sort".

        @Everybody
        By the way, now, illustrate is asked to offer a solution for:

        - sorting titles
        - handling sampler (various artists)

        Various artists albums should be handled like ONE album and not like 20 different if they are 20 different artists. Other media servers work correctly this way).

        Kind regards

          Thanks to all.

          I use FLAC files ripped from an album with DBPowerAmp. Sort is working for Conductor but not for Composer and Artist...
          The sort tags seems to be correct => I use ARTIST SORT and COMPOSERSORT tags (cf. screenshots Click image for larger version

          I use Asset v5.1 on W7.
          Strange behaviour...

            I use Asset R5.1 and Artist Sort, ConductorSort and ComposerSort are all working ok. Did you see my post no. 16? Also, what DLNA client software are you using, where Artist and Composer are not sorted correctly?

              It's working when I put the Option "Artist and Album Handling" to "Leave as this" !!!

              Thanks for your help

                OK, but what do you have for the Artist Sort Handling option?

                The option you refer to above is how you want Asset to handle 'The' in the Artist tag i.e. 'The Beatles' or 'Beatles, The'

                  Yes, these two options are totally different but seem to have links : option "Artist Sort Handling" with values "Display in Sort and Non-Sort Locations" or "Use Sort to Order Display" works for me only if option "The Artist & Album Handling" HAS NOT value "[value] the".
