DSD to PCM Conversion

Can someone tell me how long it should take to convert a 1 GB DSD (DSF) file to PCM? I have a pretty fast workstation (i7-4770k with 32 GB of ram) and it seems to take forever to convert. It takes about 10 minutes to convert a 60 minutes DSD file in Korg's audiogate.

Maybe I have some settings wrong?

Honestly, I never get to the end. The time keeps counting up and I terminate it. I just restarted it. After 3 minutes it says that there are 3 hours remaining. Something isn't right. It decodes and encodes 24/96 flac/wav super fast.

10 minutes in, 5% done, 3 hours to go.

is DSD to PCM (wave) or flac conversion via dBpoweramp actually bit-perfect & lossless? when converting .dff DSD files.

in settings, the recommended output is still 96/24 and for anything above 176kHz there is still this ultra-sonic noise warning given. In case it is lossless, is it lossless from setting 176kHz onwards (176 and higher)? or should I rather set 192kHz output just to be sure?

No DSD to PCM is bit perfect, it is not possible like that.

Every DSD encoded signal has ultrasonics, it is how the format is designed.
