Question Which DSP configuration is the best for mp3 conversion?

Hi! Please, which DSP configuration is the best for mp3 conversion from Flac Files:
    * the high quality options for lame mp3 was selected (320 CBR, Joint Stereo etc).

    1) Bit Depth 32 floatted + Volume Normalize (EBU) + Bit Depth with ditther (return to 16 bits) + Trim Silence.

    or

    2) Volume Normalize (EBU) + Trim Silence

    Thanks and Regards !!!

It probabbly makes no difference, dithering is not required for mp3 as it is bit depth independant.
