    Editing broswe tree

I'm having a look at the various options available in the browse tree. Can you add either advance search or dynamic browsing, say after Artist +/advanced search? when I do this the advanced search does not work, i.e. it shows no options?

what does the "contains" option do or filter for?

what I'm trying to achieve is a chronological display of albums for a particular artist (ideally not including compilations).

    Thanks

No it is not possible to do that.

Album by release is Year and Album tags.

For compilation albums where I have input a year for each track, what does the software choose to use as per Bruce image below.

1979 is being chosen for CD1 and 1983 for CD2 of the essential Bruce Springsteen. CD1 spans 1972 to 1982 and neither track no 1 or the first track alphabetically are 1979, puzzled as to where 1979 comes from here, not a big issue obviously, just wondering why asset prefers "The River" to "Atlantic City" or "Blinded by the Light"!

    thanks
