Are aac encoders gapless in R15.1 Mac and R15.2 Windows ?

Hi,

I play my .aac files under Mac (Yosemite 10.10.3). I've used the batch converter to encode all my flac library to aac.

The problem is that with Music Player Daemon, and Cantata 1.5.2 the playback is not gapless.

Before investigating more further on the mpd side, I'd like to know if the aac encoder in both Mac R15.1 and Windows R15.2 are gapless.

Try itunes... A player has to decode correctly to get gapless.
