Yes, there is a program where asset is installed called:

    uMediaLibrary-dumpdb.exe

Run it, save the file and load into excel.

When I use uMediaLibrary-dumpdb.exe to export the database I only get a set of headers but no content. Any tips?

Your database must be on a different user account to the one your run the dump from. You have asset on a service?

Asset was on service, which I have now changed. While it is rebuilding the database I have been able to export part of the database. Asset is running on a HP N54L server under windows server 2008R2. There appeared to be multiple services running and after shutting these down and restarting under local account the database was available. It also seems that txt association must be with notepad other such as Notetab don't appear to work.

    Hi,
Just tried this. Notepad opens but no text appears. Please advise how to get database in text format.
    Thanks.

If running asset as a service, you have to run the dumping program as the same user account, or it might be simpler to switch to local account, let it scan, then dump, then switch back.
