Can't get Music Converter to use WMA 10 Pro Release 9 codec
Hi,
I'm using dBpowerAmp 64bit Reg. Ref. Release 15.2 and am trying to convert WMA lossless files to FLAC. I downloaded and installed the WMA 10 Pro Release 9 codec. Installation apparently was ok (Windows Media Audio.dll is in the decoder folder), but when I try to convert a WMA file, I am told the codec is not installed. When I run the dBpoweramp configuration, it still lists the codec in the "on demand" section. Same situation after repeated attempts to uninstall and reinstall. Also tried to install Releases 8 and 7 of the WMA codec without success. And I have the problem with dBpowerAmp Release 15.1 as well.
Using Windows 7 Pro 64-bit SP1

Ok, case closed. I saw Spoon's post about removing a leftover 32bit dbconfig.exe. I removed it, reinstalled the WMA codec and it works. Then also reinstalled dBpowerAmp 15.2 to get the 64-bit dbConfig.exe back. All is well now.
