    Multi-disc folders.

Hi, beginning to get to grips (I.e. copy others structure) with folders. I'm ripping in AIFF and combining multi-disc sets to a single folder (hopefully this will then play as a continuous album. My problem is that a single album lists in album order, which is what I require, but when I rip the 2nd disc the listing becomes track 1 disc 1, track 1 disc 2 etc. rather than 1st album followed by 2nd.

Is there a fix for this, as for me this would make tagging editing easier.

    Thanks in advance, Oggy.

To do this you have to make sure that for disc 2:

    1) The album title is identical as disc 1
    2) Disc number is set at 1/1 (also for disc 1)
    3) You apply a track number offset, right click on track 1 and apply a +100 track number offset

Thanks Spoon! In this day and age, the quick and level of response you offer is so refreshing. Obviously your advice worked, but what a joy to see the other +100 numbers auto-filled.

Having now tried this on a multi CD set, the only thing that I changed on my 2nd attempt was; Disc 1 starts with 101, Disc 2 with 201 etc.

This is helpful. I am a novice at dBpoweramp and I want to understand precisely how to do this. If I have a 4 disc set (an opera) do I apply a track number offset of +100 on the first track of discs 2, 3 and 4? And if I read this correctly, I should make each disc 1/1 rather than 1/4, 2/4... is this correct?

            On disc 3 you would apply +100, then a 2nd +100

Yes, that is correct - a rather neat feature.
