    Updating Album Title

I'm demoing Asset for Mac Yosemite and am pulling out what little of my hair I have left.

I can't seem to get Asset to update the Album Title changes.

I've tried rewriting the metadata with a couple of metadata editors that I use all the time (Metadatics), even iTunes shows them with the new album title.

But when I use Asset they continue to show-up as the old album title.

    I've:

    • Restarted Asset
    • Refreshed All
    • Done Detecting Changes

This happens using both Moon Mind's iPhone & iPad applications, and Creation 5 media player.

    Please advise ... Thanks

What audio type do you edit?

Ok for a flac album you have changed, move the whole album to a location not scanned by Asset, trigger a rescan and you should see that album be removed from Assets browse, is it?

Yes, it does remove the album, by removing it from the folder. But updates within tracks (like editing the album title) are not updated even using Asset Control application on Windows. Even after restarting Asset, and Asset Control application.

I take the above that back ... It appears that the album title edits are now appearing. Not sure what's different now, but it is working.

    Thanks

I can start another post if you'd like me to, but why am I getting the message that:

"Your DLNA server does not support searching."

Is this a limitation with Asset?

Can you tell me which search methods are supported?

I'm attempting to search for simply things like Album, Artist & Track Title, and when doing this the error message above appears.

    Thanks

We support simple search on those items, it is perhaps the control point which is saying it is not supported.
