Track Ripping Time Limit in Batch Ripper

I notice a 10-minute time limit on ripping a single track in Secure Settings, but I just watched a single track take over 20 minutes to rip in Batch Ripper set for Secure ripping. Please explain how this can happen.

I would like to suggest an additional setting for a maximum time limit for ripping an entire disc so that a very bad disc doesn't cause excessive delay in a batch rip and excessive wear on the drive.

When you edit the profile in batch ripper it is set to 10 minutes on the cd ripper page which shows?

Yes it is. Sorry for the delay. I've stopped ripping for a while, as I am going through hell trying to get JRiver MC 20 to stop crashing repeatedly on a new Mac Mini, whose only purpose is to run MC 20. (Files are in a Synology 214Play and renderer is a Bel Canto REFStream.) Mac crash reports show up, which don't help JRiver admins, but MC 20 logs mysteriously don't contain any crash info.
