    [codec] DSD Decoder R2

This update supports DoP (DSD over PCM) embedding. The idea behind DoP, is that DSD can be passed to a compatible DAC, the player and transport need not know about DSD, as it is passed as PCM. To create a DoP DSD file, enable DoP embedding, then convert a dsf or dff file to FLAC or WAVE, this file when played though a compatible dac will decode the DSD.

I tried the DOP conversion of a DSF file as outlined in the DSD help file, recorded on a Sony PCM-D100. I converted it to both flac and wav but both files are barely audible with a high amount of hiss. I have added public links to all 3 files through Dropbox.
    DSF file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...140531_001.DSF
    FLAC file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...40531_001.flac
    WAV file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...140531_001.wav

The wave file is not created correctly, it has a frequency of 96KHz, not 176KHz. Your flac file, I converted to wave (just straight conversion) and it played without issues on my Teac DSD dac.

Also I converted the DSF to wave (176KHz), in the dBpoweramp Configuration >> Codecs >> Advanced >> DSD set to embed as DoP and it worked also.

I have now ripped all my SACD to DSF and want to convert to DoP. I see you now have a plug-in but I am user of the Mac version of DBPowerAmp. Can you please tell us when the plug-in will be made available for the Mac or am I missing something obvious with this?

It is possible it will make the next R16 release, which is about to be started.

Great! Thanks for the reply...I look forward to release R16. I have a DoP DAC and this is essential for me since my media software can't do DSF to DoP on the fly...
