    No Meta data

I am using the trial version of Reference and when I put a CD in the drive the program sees it but there is no metadata (no album or artist name, no track names).

Looking at the Internet databases listed on the "meta" list they are all ticked.

Should it pull in the data automatically?

If I click the Meta button nothing happens.

    Any ideas?

It should yes, make sure your firewall (or antivirus) is not blocking the program from accessing the internet.

Firewall exceptions didn't have cd ripper in the list so added it but still no different. AVS (Windows Defender) doesn't have programs or exceptions listed.

Thanks Spoon. Tried it with a different CD and it picks up the metadata fine. I guess the databases are not up to date/complete.
