Problems to get information from web WINDOWS 2000

I have two computers, one with Windows 98 and other with Windows 2000. Using Windows 98, I have no problems to get disk information from freeweb internet database, using the dMC Audio CD Input. However, every time I try to make the same operation using the Windows 2000, I receive the follow message: “Could not connect to freedb database, please check your Internet connection”.
Is there any diferent set up to Windows 2000?
