Many Asset UPnP Internet Radio stations not playing

I too have same problems with asset tunein many stations not working or dropping out buffering etc , I have fully wired system naim ND5 and Qnap 253 pro .
I bought this product mainly because I prefer tunein to the Vtuner on the Naim product
I do not have these issues with Vtuner or tunein app on ipad
At the moment I feel this has been a waste of money ,there seems to be no end of correspondence regarding this matter but no fix

any information on how to get refund

The next update to asset will address radio station issues, be sure to get involved in the beta, which potentially is only a few weeks away.

Lots of radio related bugs have been fixed in latest beta versions:
Windows :: Release 5 beta 8
Linux/OSX/QNAP: Release 4.5 beta 6th March

If you're still experiencing issues, please post which exact radio station is giving you trouble and I will look into it.

Update: posted to soon, another bug was preventing radio functionality from working. Latest versions at this time are good. New Linux/OSX/QNAP build will be available shortly.

Now all my stations are playing.
But every 4-5 seconds i got a dropout oft 1-2 seconds... :-(

I used the todays beta.
QNAP 112p, Pioneer N-50, Bubble

Almost all radio now work, I don't have this dropout problem (windows version from asset, bubble, N50).
Remains one that won't work, Chérie FM, can be found under : by location > europe > france > paris if you want to investigate.

I'm getting these dropouts now too, had none yesterday.
I don't have my favorites anymore btw, tunein account is the right one, but it vanished.

If it works one day and not the next, it suggests network congestion.

That's possible, I'll see how it works in the next days. The favorite part however, I had the issue from start, restarted kinsky and it came back, that was the day before yesterday. Yesterday and today, no matter what I try to do, the "My favorites" folder is not showing.

I'm getting the same problem : dropouts from my Tunein account which I never had before. I think it is something to do with the BBC's decision to drop wma support and downgrade their bit-rate. This seems to throw out the buffering on my Linn ADMS/1.

Question for Spoon: Would purchasing the Premier version of Asset UPnP and using the radio option within this mean that the radio signal is re-buffered on the pc and then streamed in the same way as FLAC files are (I never have dropout problems with these) ?

It is unlikely that assets rebuffering would do anything the Linn DS does not do.

I had the dropout problem again just now, so I tried to bypass bubble upnp server and send the radio directly to the N50, and not the virtual room created by bubble, and no more dropouts since.
Might be bubble related, or some interaction between asset and bubble.

Playing internet radio is much better with the latest beta of version 4.5 than with version 4.4 but some stations are still not working. For example

Deutschlandfunk 89.3
Deutschlandfunk Kultur 105.0
DRadio Wissen

Is there a chance to get them working?

Hello, same problem here with many french radios: FIP, France Musique, France Culture, ...

I have assetUpnp premium version 4.3 for W7.

It is a pity, because the only reason why I bought the premium version was to listen to those radios.

Is there a newer version somewhere, even if it is a Beta one?
