SACD & HDCD rips

Hi Spoon,

I am using the latest port on OS X to rip CDs.

I understood that if you rip an SACD or HDCD then the resulting file would be 24bit rather than the usual 16bit for regular CDs.

Have I got that wrong or is there a configuration setting that I have missed?

SACD only every rips in 16 bit, you need a special PS3 to rip as 24, no pc can do this.

HDCD rips as 20 bit on dBpoweramp Windows, however as Microsoft own this technology it is not possible to license for non-Windows.
