Asset counts different on different platforms (?)

I have two registered Assets running on different platforms, one on my Windows Server, and since yesterday one on my QNAP, both are V 4.3

The music collections on both servers are absolutely identical !! Both are synchronized, the folders show the same amount of needed memory used on the HD.
Now... on the QNAP Asset counts 29402 Tracks and 2074 Albums, while the windows version of Asset counts 29785 Tracks and 2106 Albums on the windows server... The configurations of the two Assets looks like a copy from each other .

    Ooops...???? Which is wrong....??

It is likely the Windows Asset can read .wma files as well, qnap asset cannot.

Ok, thanks, I searched for them and found just 20 files .wma
So, are there other file formats qnap asset cannot read ? Where are the other 363 lost files and 31 albums ?

Asset on Windows can read many obscure formats, any that dBpoweramp is able to read.

    You can browse:

Thanks, went deeper in it... it seems that .ape is a another (important) file format which is not supported by asset qnap.

Could have been a good idea to note in the description of Asset Qnap, that there are limitations in file formats.... ;-)
