No it works with any player as long as you install bubble upnp server, the openhome extensions are needed for kazoo, and that's what bubble server gives you.
You even can use tidal (and qobuz soon) with any non Linn player that way.
I'm doing this with a N-50.
Hi Spoon,
i had a closer look to the AVTransportURI current URI MetaData and i guess the Beta 11 has some issues with <res entries.
From my point of view the the size= is wrong in Beta11 and the duration= is completely missed.

can I parry that, with a request for R5 on the Raspberry Pi, with optimization for the Pi 2 (ARM 7 and all that)
However I think they are a similar Debian Linux based OS, so hopefully can be conducted at the same time.
Simon.
The code base for Windows and linux are seperate, R5 changes would need porting over, then testing.
Missing duration is now fixed in beta 12

I agree, this version is much better than the previous stable version.
One minor point I have noticed when installing newer versions of Asset when the configuration window has been left open, is that it remains open and then another one is opened after the installer has finished. Surely it would make more sense for the installer to check and shut this window at the beginning of the upgrade installation process? Windows 7 SP1 x64.

Are there any known problems with beta 12? I installed beta 12 over beta 11 and now faces suddenly situation that my collection consists only of 112 music titles although my collection is much bigger and all files are present. When I rescan it will also show for some minutes the correct amount of music titles but after a while it goes back to 112 files.
Unfortunately I do not have beta 11 anymore to see if the problem will solve. Any idea how to solve the problem, any debug possibility.
Btw, the collection seems to be fully okay as I can read it with multiple other programs - also PerfectTunes...
What is your exact number of tracks? Have you tried uninstall, reboot, reinstall Asset?

Asset tells me 122 Tracks and 12 Albums but it should be (and it has been before) 51.524 tracks and 2.902 albums. If I remember correctly I had no problems after installing Beta 12. Just realized yesterday that suddently only 122 tracks are present. In the meantime there was Microsoft patch day and the Windows Home Server (= Windows Server 2003) received patches as well.
Uninstalled, rebooted, and installed Asset again. Will let you know how many tracks will show up, indexing takes some time...
Just FYI; I had similar issues with upgrading to Beta 13. Everything worked fine, after updating Installer asked to reboot. While on Asset's side everything was fine I could not find the UPnP Server with my network player. I had to uninstall Asset, reboot the system and install Asset again. Now the network player recognized the UPnP server.
So with Asset R5 now released - is there any visibility on a Raspberry Pi version with the Album Artwork changes and DSD support?
Thanks,
Simon.
