Help with CD ripping to AIFF...some rips clip off the first note

    Hello, new here.

I am using dbPoweramp to rip CDs to AIFF for a music server.

On a few occasions the AIFF first track will have the first note, or part thereof, cut off making the lead-in to the first track start mid note.

Are there settings to mitigate this? Workarounds? Or a problem peculiar to my experience?

    Thanks, David

You need to check it is not the music server. Using dbpoweramp, convert the aiff file to wave, then play that one track in windows media player, is it cut off?

Ah, so. All indications point to the music server as the culprit. Thanks for the suggestion.
