    Compatibility - DMC R15 with dBpoweramp-Codec-[ID Tag Update]

    Hi there,

    just a quickie...

    I use dBpoweramp-Codec-[ID Tag Update] a fair bit and wondered on compatibility with DMC R15. I see R15 is fully 64-bit and installs to the correct (x64) folder but this codec installs to the x86 folder (32 bit).

    I'm running Windows 8.1 x64.

    Is it safe to install?

      The 64 bit release of dBpoweramp will only work correctly with 64 bit codecs. In Codec Central the codecs which are indicated as 32 bit only will not work with the 64 bit version of dBpoweramp. CD Writer CD Writer cannot be compiled to 64 bit, it is 32 bit only.


      You cannot have the 32 bit program left over, or you cannot install both 64 and 32 bit programs to the same location.
