Internet radio Cache

I was told by Linn that Asset UPNP can be used as a cache for Internet radio. Specifically, we have a client in Hong Kong who gets poor internet radio reception. According to Linn, Asset UPNP can receiver an Internet radio stream and create a buffer before sending it on to a Linn streamer. I cannot see this mentioned as a feature. is this correct? Is the Mac version out of Beta yet?
