CD Ripper Creating Separate Folders For Every Artist

    Hi.

I am trying to rip an album that has various artists.
In previous versions, all the tracks would go into the same folder (Album Artist/Album Title), but now folders are being created for each artist.
I've tried "Compilation", on and off, but the same result occurs.

    Any ideas?

It is to do with your naming string, the default naming string will put various artist CDs in a various artist folder if there is no overall album artist set.

      Hi Spoon.
I had an "Album Artist" set.
It should have put it all under the Album Artist.
That's what previous versions used to do, but Release 15 has somehow changed that.

What naming string are you using?

I am guessing I should be using [album artist]
          Is that right?

More complex than that, the default one uses album artist if there:

            [IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[IFCOMP]Various Artists[][IF!COMP][artist][][]\[album]\[track] [artist] - [title]

              Thanks Spoon.
So, if I use the one you posted above, it should work for me how I want?
Won't that give me artist in the track title?
