      Hi Spoon,

      First findings
      Installation is smooth

"Debug Logging Enabled" selection is not kept after apply

Using kinsky i get an error message after selecting a specific album
Playlist.AsyncActionReadList.ReadListEnd(http://192.168.0.4:55178/Ds/Playlist/control): '', hexadecimal value 0x1E, is an invalid character. Line 2, position 1040.
This error message occurs for other lines and positions to...
And am unable to browse album or any other sort order

Using my Sony Bravia to browse the music gives a message "No content received from server"

Asset control works fine with asset upnp for qnap however there is a difference with the asset upnp pc version.
Asset upnp for Qnap shows artist album "All kinds of chinese characters"
Asset upnp for Qnap shows artist album "katie Melua Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra"

      Hope this helps.
Looking forward to do some additional testing in the weekend, now time is short, sorry.

      KR Michel

        Hi Spoon,

that sounds very interessting because I'm using a NAS from Synology (DS 213+ with a Freescale QorIQ P1022 CPU). Your porting of Asset UPnP for QNAP let me hope to get Asset UPnP for my NAS in the (near) future, too. Have you alredy plans for this purpose?

        Bye. Purzel

        btw. happy new year!

It is not currently possible to purchase Asset on QNAP, and I think the release is March if we are lucky.

                    Hi Spoon,

Tried the radio function, entered Netherlands in the RadioTime UserName [Internet Radio] field.
However after asses restarts (automatically after apply settings) the edit box is empty and stations are not shown (in Kinsky)

Any news on the other items above ?
                    Or to little response yet.

                    Kind regards Michel

It is likely this is the issue for all, is it for one album or all albums?

The first test was with only one folder (=one album), so only chinese charachters.
Just tested with complete folder tree, 5000 tracks, 600 albums.
Most are readible with artist and album but with a random character ( * & 0 " N , 4 at the end.
                        like:
                        Artist: Unknown
                        Album: All the lost souls*

                        Artist: Train"
                        Album: Alive at last

                        Artist: Unknown
                        Album: All of you0

                        Artist: Unknown
                        Album: All the lost souls*

Many are chinese characters for Artist and/or Album

Some Artist and Album or ok, but still no album art.

All albums are really nicely tagged using mp3tag and show up correct when using twonky.

                        Hope this helps

The next beta update will potentially solve this, if not then will have to request one of your files.

Explorer is on your Windows computer? everything should be done on the QNAP.
