Using mp3PRO codec with latest Music Converter?

I just installed the trial version of Reference and the mp3PRO codec (Release 2) on my XP laptop. I had previously installed the Thomson mp3PRO Audio Player, but it only converts from WAV. I need to convert from 320kbs MP3 to 64kbs mp3PRO.

The instructions for mp3PRO encoding, that came with the dMC codec, don't seem to match with what I'm seeing on the dMC screens. It talks about a LOCATE button, but no such animal. I also don't see mp3PRO as an option in the "Converting To" list of dMC.

Not sure if needed, but I do have Thomson Audio Player running at the same time as dMC.

Is this encoder still compatible with the current dMC? Am I missing something else needed to do what I want?

    Thanks,
    Ralph

No it is not compatible, it was for a much older version.

Can anyone advise on a way to convert from mp3PRO?

dBpoweramp has never decoded mp3pro (the extra part).
