Asset UPnP high memory use

I'm running Asset UPnP 4.1 premium on Windows 8 Pro and have noticed that Asset at times uses a lot of memory.

Recently Task Manager showed one of the 2 Asset-UPnP processes as using 1.5GB of memory and rising! I ended the task and restarted Windows.

Monitoring Asset after the restart, it was using about 1MB, after 20 hours it was up to 277MB, then dropped to 161MB, then rose to 402MB.
What is going on here? I can appreciate that it will from time to time use more memory when detecting changes.

I have 17,403 tracks and 2,396 albums in my library.

Certain control points go through every tree there is, as asset has some infinite trees it tries to limits these browses.
