WASAPI to Pure Avanti Flow

I'm struggling to get this to work: The Pure box recorgnizes the UPNP server, and I can select the WASAPI source, but no audio arrives...

Is there anything particular I need to do at the PC end to enable/configure WASAPI?

Windows 7 x64, running on a bootcamped Macbook.

It is difficult to say where the problem lies, is it is the Avanti, or the WASAPI capture. You would need a system you can be 100% sure can play this capture, but that would involve another PC.

I would check that your recording device is listed (right click on speaker icon >> recording devices).

Thanks for the quick reply!. I only see the mic in recording devices. Should there be something else?

In playback devices, I see both speakers and SPDIF, and both these appear as 'tracks' on the AVANTI, which is what I was expecting.

Forgot to mention the Avanti UPNP all works fine with my Synology NAS for 'stored' music.

Set asset so it scans some music, and see if your player can play the audio as served by Asset. Your WASAPI is set as mp3? or as WAVE? if you have flac files set to as WAVE also to match.

That works fine, for MP3 anyway.

WASAPI streaming was set to "as is". Changed as below, but no obvious change.



I also added this to the overrides, with no effect :-(
