    WAV to FLAC

    Hi there,

I want to convert all my WAV files on my Readynas duo to FLAC using dB Poweramp batch converter but when I tried it just makes duplicate files of the same folder so I have both FLAC and WAV

How do I convert files in the same folder without duplicates?

I'm new to all this so I'd be grateful for any help please?

    Thanks..

You want to convert wave >> flac then automatically delete the wave file?

Yes, add the dsp effect 'delete source file'

test on a few files first.

I'm fairly new to streaming music etc and I'm not too sure what you mean by the DSP effect but many thanks for your advice Sir.

On the conversion page where you select the encoder, at the bottom is a DSP section, click add.

    Thanks Spoon.

I tried using DSP but a faint tab appeared saying I needed Powerpack ?

Not too sure what that means.

I've tried to post a picture but no joy there as the MODS have to approve it.

    See:

    http://dbpoweramp.com/db-versions.htm

You require dBpoweramp Reference to access the DSP effects.
