    Question dBpoweramp: mp3 (Lame) question

    Hello, that's great software!

Under settings of encodings LAME >>> advanced. There is an option "Copyright: marks the mp3 file as containing copyright material."
Can you please explain me please what that does mean ?

    1) mark the mp3 with some values ?
    2) remove the copyright ?
    2) i have tic however that option and seems nothing to change on mp3 file sound etc.

Any information will be very useful.

    Thanks in advance

Some very old players would refuse to play the mp3 if this bit was set.

Hello Spoon, thanks for your replay.

So this option has nothing to do if the MP3 is protected with some watermarking and by tic the option can be removed on decoding. ?

It is just a flag, no watermarking

This flag is not used by dbpoweramp when decoding.
