Updating artwork

I've got an artwork issue. I used MP3Tag to update an artwork image in one of my album folders. The original artwork was deleted from the folder and the PC yet it still appears against the artist's name when I browse to the album on the iPad. Is it stuck in a cache file somewhere? I can find no evidence of its existence anywhere on the PC but there it is on the iPad and I CANNOT get rid of it. I've got a Naim streamer and use the nStream app to interface between it and Asset. The app has "clear uPnP cache" and "clear Image cache" buttons, both of which have been pressed countless times in my efforts to get rid of this rogue image but to no avail. What do I do now is the question??

Is the artwork embedded in the file? Create a custom column in mp3tag with the following value and you'll see if the file has embedded art:

$if(%_covers%,Yes,No)

Also Asset would only pickup tag changes not a folder.jpg change.
