FLAC downloads copied to server not showing in "New Albums"

What is the criteria for Asset listing albums in the New Albums playlist?

I have a problem that Asset does not list as "New Album" or "New Tracks", FLAC studio masters downloaded from the website for The Sixteen (http://www.thesixteendigital.com).

The music is accessible / listed under Artist, Title, Composer etc lists.

I do not have this problem with FLAC downloads from other sites e.g. B&W, Bandcamp, HD Tracks, Imperativa, Linn or MP3 AutoRips from Amazon.

    thanks

It goes of file creation date, if the files were downloaded in a zip and unzipped then the date could be older than the existing tracks you have.

      Spoon,

thanks, your assumption is correct and whilst the date difference small, I have added sufficient for them not to appear in the list.

Is it possible to edit the number of albums listed under "New Albums" ?

      thanks

New Albums is fully automatic, you might find there are programs that exist which can set the date and time of files to the current date.
