Those settings are fine, even if not using iTunes.

What’s the easiest way to apply new ReplayGain tags to my albums? Do I have to do every album separately through batch converter? That would take forever since I gave over 1,000 albums ripped already. Lol. Or would I select all albums and use batch converter to rewrite and adjust ReplayGain tags to all albums? And in doing all at once, would batch converter retain RG for each specific album still? Or would it treat all my individual albums as one gigantic album? Thanks.

Batch Converter is smart, the album tag is used when calculating album gain.

You'll select all 1000 albums then use batch convert, and select REPLAYGAIN as the "convert to" item. Then in the RG popup, select advanced options and make sure the option to add RG tags "by album" is selected (should be as that is the default).
