Crashing and "Error Writing File" when using Album Art

I just bought PerfectTUNES to optimize my collection of approximately 600 albums ripped with CD Ripper from dBpoweramp in Flac to a Synology NAS. First attempts to fix low resolution albums crashed, but the program found many matches before it crashed, but they were not applied. At later attempts, these previous fixes came up as "No Match". As it continued searching, there were a few matches, many "No match" and then "Error Writing File". Out 138 low res albums, only 35 were fixed. Manually it is easy to find a good match for most of the albums, but before the fixes are applied, the program crashes.
Nedless to say, I am not satisfied, especially after spending $36.
What can be done to make it work properly?

Error writing file potentially means the nas is only giving read access to the files.

The crash, it say album art.exe has stopped working?

Yes, I should have been more specific - it says that albumart.exe has stopped working.

Error writing file could of course mean that albumart is not given write access, but why does this apply to certain files only when they are all ripped and stored the same way?

I also wanted to check my files for errors (allthough the ripping process using CD Ripper has worked fine). This is the report I got after scanning:
608 tracks corrupted (which potentially could be true, depending on the definition of "corrupted")
500 albums not present in AccurateRip (what?)
203 albums cannot check (again - what?)
703 total albums (really that many?)

    ...which didn't cure my confusion...

I also bought PerfectTUNES for automate Album Art and run it on a 1,5 Terabyte external disc with audio albums only. The progamm reproduceablely crashes (about 17.000 Albums). The Idea of the Program (Album ART) is great but it still needs some development IMHO.
I also think the app needs some more "fail tolerance" with the folders of the albums.
I often use it this way:
    Artist - Year - Album
    or
    Artist - Album - Extention
This seems to confuse PefrectTUNES as it dosen't find the right pictures.
    After changing the folder to:
    Artist - Album
it works fine...but that's not the way I need it and it's not automated anymore what is the target of the programm, or not...

Well, I hope v.1,5 or v.2,0 will do the job. Then it's worth every penny.

    If AlbumArt.exe is crashing email:

    http://www.dbpoweramp.com/email.htm

And we shall supply a test version

    I have your email.

The album art program uses ID Tags, which audio format are you using? do the files have tags?
