    Converting mpg files

I've used db poweramp for a couple of years to convert from Wav to Flac or mp3 but now want to convert some .mpg files to mp3 and I get the following error message:

Error valid mp3 frame not found. [clsmpeg123::Init]. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

    all the best
    Greg

mpg are typically movie files, they might not contain audio dBpoweramp can recognize.

Thanks for the quick reply. You are of course absolutely right - its a video format and I don't need to convert the file but instead extract the mp3 audio material from it - in other words it's a task dbpower amp is not designed to do. I must be going bonkers - its good to have someone help whose got more than half a brain cell!!
