Multi Disc Sets & Asset r4.1

I finally updated to r4.1 and am running into a problem.

Multi-disc sets only show up as:

    Bitches Brew

    Bitches Brew, Disc 2

In the past, multi-disc sets showed Disc 1 as well. I checked to be certain that the preference for "Multi-Disc Albums show as 'Album, Disc x'" was checked and I double checked the meta-data to be certain that the first disc of a set was properly tagged - I use the DISCNUMBER and DISCTOTAL fields.

This just came up when I switched to r4.1

    Any thoughts?

There was no need to show , Disc 1 so it was removed...

Re: Multi Disc Sets & Asset r4.1

I have found some strange behaviour and inconsistencies with multi disc sets after ripping with dbpoweramp 14.3 - With FLAC there is no TOTALDISCS tag, only DISCTOTAL which results in a single merged album with the tracks sorted together e.g. 1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,3 etc. However, the AAC version of the rips correctly include the TOTALDISCS tag. Took me a good couple of hours to figure out as it was driving me crazy....

Actually, there is a need to show Disc 1 when dealing with multi-disc sets. Now Disc 1 follows Disc 2, 3, etc. in the lists. This is via Kinsky, PlugPlayer and SongBook Lite on Mac, PC and iOS.

I'm not certain which email address to use, but I can send you a screenshot.

        Thanks!
