    new drive not working

    Hi guys,

After using the ripnas for three years my CDdrive crashed so I installed this one:

    http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/29090588...84.m1497.l2649

CD's start ripping for a short moment and then it stops and the CD won't eject.

    My questions:

Is the CD drive not the right one?
Do I have to change something in the software after replacing the drive?

    Thank you!

It is likely a different revision of drive and the preconfigured secure settings will not work. Try switching to burst ripping mode on the configuration page.

Thank you Spoon. I changed the configuration to burst but nothing happens. The status is still: Idle (waring for cd)

    Can I do sommething different?

    Regards

As a last try you can, remote desktop connect to the ripnas, run this to insert the values into the registry, then reboot:

When I open the link I get an error. Can you give me another one?

    Re: new drive not working

I changed the registry but still no action. I can eject a cd from the ripnas desktop but not in windows home server. Verry strange...

My dealer stops selling ripnas so after a lot of problems I think I'll buy a synology NAS and db poweramp.

    thx for the support spoon!
