Spoon, does this mean that you reversed your decision to terminate the service ? That would be great news.

Although I had closed my account after your anouncement, I would take the onus of uploading everything again.

This is wonderful news indeed. I've moved to CrashPlan since the announced demise of AudioSAFE but I will happily continue with AudioSAFE for my music once it's back up and running.

This is great news! Will the reboot of this service depend largely on adoption? If so, I think we all should help spread the word.

No, I think on release it will get the numbers required to be sustainable.

Ditto. I think I even uninstalled AudioSafe software.
Great news that it's coming back. Don't think I closed my account so hopefully my data should still be present. I had almost finished uploading my entire collection previously so fingers crossed it shouldn't take too long to continue.

Is there an ETA for the new improved AudioSAFE?

We are making it in to something more than a backup system, not details yet, however it requires considerable engineering to do this.

Give people one tool to do all of these things!
Well, as I said before, if you release everything as a suite, you will get the base you need.

I've always been interested in AudioSafe, but was always looking for the feature to allow me to stream my music back (even if it wasn't in FLAC, recompressed in MP3) ala Google Music. Here's hoping that's what you have in mind to make it more than a backup solution

Delighted to hear AudioSafe will return. How is work progressing, any ETA?
