    Unable to read CD

The following message appears in my new setting.
I have dBpoweramp Reference R14 with an external LG usb player BD-RE BP40NS20.

I can play the audio or a dvd with no problem, also in dbpoweramp.
The settings are followed up like the help/explanation of the program.

With Multi encoder and with only flac the same message appears:

"Error ripping to FLAC, 'Track 1' to 'C:\Users\Wilhelm\Music\Taylor Swift\Red\01 Taylor Swift - State of Grace.flac'
Unable to read CD, check CD disc (frame LBA 1 ripping 26 frames track end LBA 22179) [clRipperSecure::Rip]"

    I don't know what I'm doïng wrong......

Anybody who can help me out?

    Regards,

    Wilhelm

    Re: Unable to read CD

If you have c2 pointers enabled, try disabling.

        Re: Unable to read CD

Some drives say they support C2, but they don't. Or they do, but not reliably. You have to test the feature, not just trust the report from the drive that it works.

Sometimes, esp if the drive is USB connected, you can get C2 to work by enabling it but also setting the 8KB max buffer size option, but that's only if the usb chipset is the problem, not when the drive is the problem.

            Re: Unable to read CD

I have one track that won't rip. On the back of de cd cover it shows 20 songs but opening this CD with VLC shows 22 songs but song 22 has no time (00:00:00) and song 21 plays rubbish. So for some reason vlc shows 22 titles. DBpoweramp can rip song 1 to 19 but impossiible rip rip song 20. Song 20 can be played by vlc as well as dbpoweramp. The error when trying to rip this song is same error as mentioned in this openingpost. Unfortunately the given solution of disabling c2 pointers did not help me.

I rip on an iMac OS SIerra 10.12.4 using an external usb superdrive from apple (version 2.02)

When I open this CD with Disk Utility is says Filesystem = ISO 9660 (Joliet).
