Thank you, Thank you! Now I know I'm not just nuts. Guess I'll rip to FLAC and Re-rip when the 64 bit version is available then.

Convert, not re-rip. (Just in case you didn't mean precisely that.)

I installed the beta over my registered version. However, I just got a message saying there is only 3 days left in the trial (although the Beta says it functions until 4 2014.

Does this mean that the beta will stop working in 3 days, or is there something else I must do to keep the Beta?

It means it will revert to unregistered after 3 days, uninstalling and putting R14 back on will re-register.

Because of the 32/64 bit difference in this build is is not easy to preserve the registered status through the beta. Full release however is only weeks away.

Do you have an ETA on this now that we are in January?

Just installed R15RC; started testing AIFF & MP3 ripping; I thought you had moved id3 2.4 in R15? Everything I see is still written as 2.3. All the dialogs in Config, Code, Advanced show v2.3. What's up? 2.4 was release in 2003. Beatport releases MP3 & AIFF files in 2.4 for a while. iTunes supports 2.4. most standalone taggers support 2.4. Traktor supports 2.4. Mixed in Key supports 2.4. Also need more options for how you are entering Rating tag (POPM) - I don't prefer to utilize WMP scale - can you make this a settable value for each rating? I would like to be able to enter Traktor's scale: traktor@native-instruments.de 0=POPM=0; 1=POPM=51; 2=POPM=102; 3=POPM=153; 4=POPM=204; 5=POPM=255

My mistake... I see MP3 2.4 tag option in Config settings... What tag version is written to AIFF? my feedback regarding having Rating config options like being able to set what values I want written for 0,1,2,3,4,5 vs. them being hard coded to WMP POPM settings would be highly valued. Not everyone uses WMP POPM rating values like Traktor and other ID3 editors.

AIFF is always 2.3, everything supports 2.3, only about 50% supports 2.4

The new beta 11 64bit (1/18) also adds a extra folder to the programs list "dBpoweramp" when it should be "dBpoweramp Music Converter." I'm not sure about the 32bit install.

    Also,

This folder has now been dropped, and replaced by dBpoweramp, only by uninstalling the previous beta would it clear that folder, otherwise you would get 2.

The create desktop icons have been added because Windows 8 is such a mess when it comes to finding programs, never once in 14 years did we feel the need to put icons on the desktop until Windows 8 comes along.

I will see if it can be more informative.

I've done a uninstall and reboot.

Noticed the installer says beta 10 the configuration window says beta 11 and in programs and features it says beta 10.
