All Audio CDs are 16 bit, there is not such thing as a 32 bit audio cd.

Hello and thanks,
This came up because I was shopping on line and found 24 bit ad 32 bit audio cd's on amazon, as well as hybrid.
In your tool thier is an option hdcd, when would a user choose that option when ripping a cd into flac format.
thanks
good question, i am not familiar with it myself though. we can see what HDCD is older technology not as common anymore http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_De...atible_Digital
So you would use the DSP effect option HDCD's as listed here if you have a HDCD http://www.dbpoweramp.com/cd-ripper.htmIn 2008, with HDCD in decline, it was reported that conventional CDs produce a quality of sound that is now equal to or even superior to an HDCD without the cumbersome need for special encoding
DSP digital signal processing, effects which can be applied whilst ripping, many effects straight from pro-audio with internal 32 bit floating point processing, completeDSP effect listing. HDCD's can be decoded to 24 bit with DSP Effects.
