seeing duplicate m3u playlists

I am using Asset 4.1 along with a Cambridge Audio StreamMagic6 that I control via the StreamMagic app on an iPad2. I used iTunesExport to create m3u playlists from my iTunes music library - these are in a separate folder to which I have pointed Asset 4.1; I have checked that there are no other m3u files on the computer drive(s). StreamMagic locates the playlists perfectly but shows 2 versions of each playlist.

Any idea where this problem lies? and how I can fix it?

If you unpoint asset from that folder, do the playlists show still?
