    Rescan library

I recently updated to version 4.1 and I noticed that rescan library takes considerable amount of CPU and time. When I checked, it seems Asset UPnP takes a long time to scan library, count track and count artist.

Usually this is fine, but I'm in the process of ripping my CD collections to the audio folder. It seems as soon as any change happened in the audio folder, Asset starts to rescan library. Since the rescan takes long time, during rescan, I may have copied additional files to audio folder. What happened is that as soon as Asset finishes rescan, it started rescan again.

Is there a way I can change this behavior?

    Thanks,

In advanced options you can disable the automatic scanning option.

It looks like even when I click "detecting changes", Asset Upnp will rescan every track? Is this normal?

To stop automatic scanning uncheck the option.

It is normal a new file will trigger a rescan. (if checked)
