    Album art

I was under the impression that album art was stored within an individual music file but I've noticed that unless I have a separate jpeg file of the artwork then I see no artwork. Is the artwork not stored within each file?

This issue came to light when I was testing the batch converter on a bunch of folders containing a flac CD album each. Each folder contains a jpeg called Folder.jpg and unless I manually copy this folder to the folders containing my resultant ogg files then the ogg albums have no artwork. I thought the artwork would be included in my source flac files and that it would find its way into the resultant ogg files.

If someone could explain how all this actually works I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Dave

dBpoweramp stores both. There is a DSP effect called 'preserve folder.jpg'
